Inova Health System’s *Mount Vernon Hospital* is looking for a *Clinical Educator Nursing* to join our team supporting Behavioral Health.

This role is *full-time, M-F, typical office hours *(with an occasional off shift variable night)*.*

Responsibilities : *

The Clinical Educator Nursing conducts educational assessments to identify learning needs using standards of specialty nursing practices, clinical pathways and guidance from nursing strategic initiatives.

Assesses, designs / plans, implements and evaluates educational programming for growth in knowledge, skills, practice and attitudes.

Creates educational experiences for both new and experienced team members through integration of theoretical knowledge, evidence-based principles, and clinical nursing expertise.

• Requirements : *
• Hours* : f*ull-time, M-F, typical office hours *(with an occasional off shift variable night)
• Location* : Inova Mount Vernon Hospital
• Education* : Master's Degree in Nursing, HealthCare, Education and / or other relevant field.
• Experience* : Two (2) years of progressive experience in nursing in Behavioral Health, 2 years in nursing education.
• Certification* : BLS from the American Heart Association; Licensed or eligible for licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Registered Nurse or an active multi-state RN License
