Title : Business Analyst Healthcare Location : Detroit, MI (Remote)
Duration : 12+ Months
Role Type : W2 Contract Engagement
Engagement Description
- Supporting the Development and Maintenance the repository of medical policies, including annual reviews / updates
- Collaboration with Medical Director on medical policy development and maintenance
- Assist with the review of JUMP meeting minutes to update Medicare Policies where needed
- Supporting the preparation of policies and documents for CRC and UMC Meetings
- Research CPT or HCPCS codes as needed
- Researching medical technologies as needed for specific cases requesting authorizations on technologies

- Familiar with Microsoft Office products
- Familiar with CMS NCD / LCDs

- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong research skills
Preferred Skills / Experience
Experience with researching and writing policies, preferred but not required
Education / Certifications
- Clinical background / education
