Kuiper Productivity Engineering (KPE) develops and manages enterprise solutions, enabling productivity and collaboration through secure, reliable, and highly-available services.
These technologies empower the daily operations for Kuiper Manufacturing and Kuiper Government Solutions. We are seeking an Email Administrator to efficiently design, implement, and operate our M365-based email systems.
Primary focus will be on maintaining reliable and secure email services, troubleshooting email issues, and providing engineering support to our team.
Key job responsibilities
- Implement and operate M365 Email systems for Kuiper Commercial and Kuiper Government Solutions
- Develop and implement Email services using Desired State Configuration (DSC)
- Identify, research, recommend, and implement M365 solutions and integrations to enhance productivity
- Enforce, monitor, and audit security configurations to ensure regulatory compliance
- Partner with Amazon security organizations to ensure compliance with existing policies
- Develop and implement automated processes to reduce manual effort and enable scalability
- Develop monitoring and reporting on the health and efficiency of the service

A day in the life
As a member of KPE you will join our morning standups to discuss progress on projects and services across the team. On meeting days, you will attend Operations reviews, Document reviews, and project meetings.
The team also has dedicated engineering days where you will be heads down on development, operations, and support.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of administrative experience in networking, storage systems, operating systems and hands-on systems engineering experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- Experience with PowerShell (preferred) or Python for automation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
- Experience with M365 services like Teams and Sharepoint
- Experience configuring M365 services with Desired State Configuration (DSC)
