We are seeking a highly dedicated and experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dynamic healthcare team.

This is a permanent, full-time position where you will work closely with a team of cardiologists in providing comprehensive care to patients with various heart conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac care, demonstrating a deep understanding of the heart and its complex functions.

Responsibilities :

1. Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

2. Perform physical examinations, interpret EKGs and lab results, and order appropriate tests.

3. Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.

4. Assist physicians during invasive procedures such as catheterizations, angioplasties, and electrophysiology studies.

5. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.

6. Educate patients and their families on heart disease prevention and treatment options.

7. Monitor and ensure the effective delivery of therapy and medication to patients.

8. Participate in research studies and clinical trials related to cardiology.

9. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements in cardiology and related medical fields.

Qualifications :

1. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

2. A Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies from an accredited institution.

3. Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.

4. Proven experience in cardiac care, with a deep understanding of heart diseases and their treatments.

5. Proficiency in interpreting EKGs and lab results.

6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.

7. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

8. Strong commitment to patient care and a passion for improving the health and wellbeing of patients.

9. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

10. Active state licensure and DEA registration.

11. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
