Primary Purpose of Position :
The Department of Pharmaceutical Science is looking for a qualified individual to fill the position of Clinical Instructor in the Clinical Research Sciences program (CRSP).
The successful candidate will teach courses in informatics and data management, medical bioethics, and regulatory sciences.
The candidate is expected to collaborate with industry partners, train students, and serve on department, college, or university committees.
Minimum Education / Experience :
The successful candidate must hold a Master’s degree or Doctorate degree in a scientific field relevant to clinical research or clinical trials.
A minimum of one year of clinical trial research work experience is strongly preferred. Individuals in scientific fields unrelated to clinical trials who have documented work experience in clinical trials research for several years or those who demonstrate adequate potential to be successful in this areas will also be considered.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
The candidate should have experience observational studies, designing, monitoring, and analyzing clinical trials, general statistics and data management knowledge relevant to clinical trials / research.
The candidate should be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
