Job Description
Assistant Controller Responsibilities :
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Assist in the development and presentation of financial analysis, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial information.
- Oversee and manage the general ledger accounting functions.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
- Manage and support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Assist in maintaining and updating accounting policies and procedures.
- Maintain and monitor internal controls to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards.
- Supervise accounts payable and receivable operations.
- Review and approve payment processing and collections activities.
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable balances.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Assist in managing banking relationships and optimizing working capital.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors for tax planning and compliance.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Provide variance analysis and explanations.

The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience (2 years) in a senior financial management role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting standards
- Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting techniques
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems
