About The Position
Job Title : Rad Tech - Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Job Specialty : Cardiac Cath Lab Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 12-Hour Days + Call, Every Other Weekend, First to Float Guaranteed Hours : 36 Hours per Week Experience : Minimum of 2 Years License : RCIS or ARRT Certifications : ACLS, BLS, RCIS, ARRT Must-Have : 2 supervisory references required, one within the last 12 months and one within the last 3 years- Completion of mandatory modules before assignment start- Availability to work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's)- Ability to float as needed Job Description : Work in a dynamic and high-acuity environment specializing in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization- Support procedures including TAVR and Mitraclip, as well as some peripheral vascular cases- Be part of a STEMI tertiary referral center and a Chest Pain center-accredited facility- Collaborate with a team including charge nurses, CV Techs, and Rad Techs with Cath lab experience- Utilize Cerner and Merge Hemodynamics for Cath Lab documentation- Participate in floor-specific orientation over two shifts- Required to take on-call one night per week and up to every other weekend- Interact with the in-house Intensivist, and support teams such as the 24 / 7 IV Team, RT, and Pharmacy- Wear either RN or CV Tech-specific scrubs- Manage up to 3000 cases per year across 3 roomsEngage in a role that requires precision and adaptability in a fast-paced hospital setting, providing advanced cardiac care to patients.
