We are a dynamic trade association dedicated to advancing renewable liquid heating fuels throughout the Northeast. In this pivotal role, you will steer strategic initiatives, champion innovative policies, and lead industry transformation.

Your leadership skills, marketing and outreach strategies, excellent communication skills, vision, and non-profit experience will be crucial in driving our mission and strategic initiatives forward.

Position Summary : The CEO will be responsible for executing the strategic plan, ensuring a stable and predictable revenue stream, growing and engaging membership, and identifying and advancing top priority federal advocacy initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have small business experience, non-profit association leadership experience, and a proven record in business operations, fundraising, marketing, industry outreach, and program and fiscal management.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Execute the priorities outlined in the strategic plan to drive the organization’s mission and vision.
  • Revenue Generation : Develop and implement strategies to build a stable and predictable revenue stream.
  • Membership Growth : Grow and engage the membership base through innovative programs, services, and outreach initiatives.
  • Advocacy : Identify and advance top priority federal advocacy initiatives that align with the interests of the members.
  • Relationship Building : Build strategic relationships and collaborate with the organization.
  • Operational Management : Oversee business operations, including fiscal management, staff leadership, and program development.
  • Fundraising : Lead fundraising efforts to support the association’s programs and initiatives.
  • Marketing and Outreach : Develop and implement marketing strategies to enhance the association’s visibility and industry outreach.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in the energy sector.
  • Extensive leadership experience in a non-profit association.
  • Strong background in business operations, fiscal management, and program development.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a remote staff and manage teams effectively.
  • Experience in fundraising, marketing, and industry outreach.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to execute plans and drive results.
