The Emergency Department at MidMichigan Medical Center - Alpena is equipped to provide a full range of services 24-hours a day and is staffed by physicians and nurses who specialize in emergency medicine.

Air and ambulance transportation is available.

In April 2016, Alpena Regional Medical Center (ARMC) joined MidMichigan Health, an affiliate of the University of Michigan Health System.
