Job Description
EXPERIENCED MA needed for busy Office.
Job Duties :
- Interviewing and rooming patients
- Measuring vital signs, giving vaccines / shots
- Telephone triage, calling patients with labs / Xray results
- Pre-certifications, referrals
- Performing routine diagnostic tests and EKG's
- Answering phones, scheduling appointments
- Checking in / out patients, and chart scanning and filing as needed
Job Requirements : 2 years of recent physician office experience (Family Practice, Urgent Care or Pediatrics preferred), phone triage experience, working knowledge of EMR (e-Clinical Works preferred or EPIC), knowledge of pediatric vaccinations, must be dependable, work as a team player, and have good customer service skills.
Required to have MA certification.
Hours : Monday - Friday 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00pm
