Summary
The Department of Health Behavior and Health Equity (HBHE) at the University of Michigan is seeking a full-time tenure track faculty member at the rank of assistant professor level.
We seek researchers with strong scholarly credentials and a record or promise of external research funding. The faculty member will be expected to teach in our leading master and doctorate programs, and possibly in the School of Public Health's undergraduate program.

The position will be based in the Department of Health Behavior and Health Equity (HBHE) at the University of Michigan, School of Public Health.

Required Qualifications*
Individuals will have a doctoral degree in a health-related field such as public health, social work, social policy, urban planning, community psychology or other social science-related fields.
The ideal person for the position is capable of teaching at the graduate level, has strong research skills and evidence of a research agenda that focuses on public health, healthcare, or related issues, using a health equity lens.
With a start date of August 25, the candidate must have a PhD by January 1, .
