Senior Accountant with Growth to Accounting Manager

A Chattanooga based organization is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team. The Senior Accountant will oversee a segment of the month-end close process, reconciliations, and review the financial statements for accuracy.
This role is part of a cohesive team that partners together to manager the general ledger accounting functions. Additionally, the role will be used to groom for a future Accounting Manager role in the next 1+ years.
The ideal candidate with have a BS in Accounting / Finance. 4+ years of broad based, general ledger experience to include accrual based accounting, month-end close experience, and experience reviewing financial statements is required.
Experience with fixed assets and sales / use tax is also a plus. ERP exposure and intermediate Excel usage is required.
