Techno / Functional JDE Business Systems Engineer

A direct client of Robert Half’s Enterprise Technology Services (ETS) practice is seeking a seasoned Techno / Functional JDE Business Systems Engineer.
This role will serve as a pivotal bridge between functional and technical applications within the JDE environment, actively driving improvement and efficiency in business processes.
Responsibilities :
- Design, develop, and implement solutions on the JDE platform to enhance business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of user satisfaction.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex JDE system issues, design flaws and operational problems in collaboration with other team members.
- Document and relay technical requirements in an understandable and actionable manner for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Conduct gap analysis of current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Customize and configure JDE modules to match business needs.
- Develop and manage JDE reports, applications, and business services using JDE development tools.
- Develop testing strategy for all applications configured or developed.
- Provide production support, configuration, and end-user training for areas using JDE application.
- Adhere to project management lifecycle and change control standards.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience with JDE
- Strong knowledge of JDE applications and development tools.
- Knowledge and experience in business process analysis and improvement.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts to various stakeholders.
- Proficient at troubleshooting and diagnosing issues within JDE systems.
- Strong team player with proven ability to manage and lead during times of change and ambiguity.
Familiarity with SQL, Oracle DB, C++, and Java
