Staff Accountant-Hybrid!
Position Summary :
In this role, the Staff Accountant is responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance of accounting transactions, performing complex duties involving GAAP, organizational policies, and other compliance areas.
This role supports various accounting functions including general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and financial reporting.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prepare, verify, and post journal entries.
- Process and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Conduct bank account reconciliations.
- Process vendor payments and review invoices.
- Coordinate employee expense reimbursements.
- Maintain vendor records and reconcile 1099 statements.
- Assist with payroll processing and administration.
- Support month-end close and annual audit preparation.
- Monitor compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 1-3 years' experience in accounting or similar role.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; experience with Intacct or Bill.com preferred.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
Salary : $68,000-$72,000 annually
