We are looking to fill an Accounting Manager with a large and stable organization in Carrollton, TX. The Accounting Manager will ensure accurate financials, act as a business partner to other divisions within the company, lead and develop staff and help create and maintain an environment of efficiency.
This position pays 120K-125K+Bonus and offers a Hybrid work schedule.
Responsibilities :
- Maintain the general ledger, tracking assets, liabilities, expenses, and revenues
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close and financial reporting
- Assist internal and / or external auditors with periodic audits
- Provide appropriate level of guidance and development for direct reports
- Provide financial statement guidance to Operations
- Review financial data for completeness, accuracy, and compliance
- Ensure that appropriate internal controls and compliance processes are followed
- Makes recommendations for process improvements and automation opportunities
- Assist the Controller and Assistant Controller with projects and required research
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Accounting
- CPA license is a plus
- Minimum 5-7 years related experience including supervisory / management experience
- Large and / or public company is strongly preferred but not required
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Proven ability to systematically enhance processes and drive improvements
- Experience in large ERP systems is preferred
Pay Details : $120, to $124, per year
