About The Position

Time off requested after the acceptance date will not be approved. When submitting candidates include at least two references (one must be from current manager), a resume, and completed skills checklist / competency assessment.
13 weeks assignment, 2 years experience current required inlarge ED. Must be a team player, flexible and accustomed to fast pacedenvironment.
Must have successfullycompleted at least one 13-week travel assignment. CERTIFICATIONS : BLS, ACLS, PALS and NIHSS certifications required.
BLS,ACLS, and PALS must be completed through American Heart Association, AmericanHealth and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Traveler must pass the BCA testing during first week of assignment. Travelersthat do not pass the BCA test will be dismissed.
EMR : EPIC experience preferred. SHIFTS : This is a 12 hour varied shift position 1900 or 0700 start time ). Shifts may fluctuate to fulfill department staffing needs.
On call 1-12 hour shifts / 4 weeks, weekends minimum 3 shifts / 4 weeks and holidays at least one required. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
Traveling pairs are not guaranteed same schedules or sameshifts. ORIENTATION : The first week of the contract, not to exceed40 total hours, and includes EPIC training.

10.2024) 1. Travelers must not have been an employee of the Presbyterian Healthcare Services system for 12 months from last day worked, in order to be considered for a travel position.
2. Travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of permanent assigned location.
3. State tax is passed through to your agency and will be reflected on your invoice. The state tax should be paid to the state of New Mexico.
4. ENSURE AN ACCURATE SS# and DOB IS ENTERED. IF NOT, TRAVELER MAY BE PUSHED / AGENCY SUSPENED (creates I.T. onboarding issues).
