Currently we have Full-time Pharmacist opening at our (Hollywood, CA) specialty pharmacy. This is a 4x10 shift, rotating weekends.

The successful candidate will have exceptional interpersonal skills, have a customer friendly attitude, be highly motivated to provide outstanding customer service, be proactive in assisting patients solve various issues and problems related to receiving services from AHF.

Collaborative contributions by the PHARMACIST-FLOAT (bilingual Spanish / English) is essential to our success including working with various departments within Pharmacy as well as other divisions of AHF, our patients and partners.

The skills discussed below are representative of the knowledge, experience and abilities that lead to our success together.

REQUIREMENTS :

Valid state of California Pharmacist license (without restrictions)

and / or hold an American Academy of HIV Pharmacist Certification (AAHIVP), current or successfully obtain within 18 months of employment

• Bilingual in English / Spanish is preferred
• Previous experience with Pharmacy Management systems, data input skills which includes typing skills and familiarity with Windows PC applications
• Exceptional customer service is an absolute must. Phone interpersonal skills are imperative to ensure the MTM encounter with the patienKnowledge of motivational interviewing techniques is also valuable to engage the patient in the process and to collect the information necessary for a successful MTM encounter
• Must have at least intermediate skills to calculate figures and amounts such as a day’s supply of medications based on the prescribed directions, the ability to calculate dispensing and billing cycles based on days’ supply and billing dates, must have the ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, volume, percentages related to prescription charges and selling prices of goods and services proved by AHF Pharmacy
