Job description
Family physician in Katy, TX has an open position for a LVN / CMA , 25 - 32 hours per week.
Must have strong front and back office skills. We are looking for a professional, dependable, hardworking individual with excellent customer services skills.
Pay depends on experience.
Back Office;
Obtain and record vital signs and information including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and chief complaint(s).
Ability to perform in-office testing, draw blood and administer injections.
Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follows up to ensure completion of testing.
Communicate with patient regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician.
Prepare, clean and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment; keep patient exam rooms stocked, clean and orderly.
Front Office;
Scheduling appointments, obtaining pre-authorizations for procedures, collecting co-pays and has a good understanding of Insurance Co-Pays and Deductibles.
Must have good computer skills, good multi-tasking capabilities, ability to work with EclinicalWorks EMR. Applicant must have;
Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program.Excellent people and customer service skills, Must be a Team Player!Strong organizational skills.
Excellent computer skills.Professional appearance.Out-going, compassionate, friendly, positive personality, and able to multi-task.
