Calling on Clinical Fellows and ASHA-Certified Speech-Language Pathologists seeking an opportunity to live and work on the beach in northern California! Soliant has partnered with a district in Novato, CA, and is seeking a contract SLP for uping school year.
How does one qualify as a traveler?
- Will you be arranging temporary housing during the school year?
- Will you be muting 75+ miles to work?
If so, you qualify for housing and / or meals and incidentals stipends!
We are currently screening application for 1 SLP to work with elementary school students (Transitional Kindergarten to 5th grade), and 1 SLP to work with middle school students (grades 6-8).
As a schools-based Speech-Language Pathologist, you will :
- Evaluate new referrals on their munication abilities and determine student eligibility for speech services
- Develop Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, and make remendations for speech services
- Re-evaluate students on a periodic basis, and updating IEP goals if needed
- Conductmeetings and pletereports as part of the referral or dismissal process for speech students
- Documentservices service logs, treatment notes, and track student progress with a mix of observations or testing data
We seek applicants with the following petencies :
- Excellent munication skills
- Good organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a manner consistent with department guidelines
- Flexibility and the ability to foster a collegial work environment
Requirements :
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or munications Disorders
- SLP license from the California Board of Speech-Language Pathology OR
- Clinical Rehabilitative Services credential from the CTC (mission on Teacher Credentialing)
