Catering Chef
Join this upscale catering company as a Catering Chef, where you will work as an Executive Sous Chef overseeing the production kitchen and staff.
You will collaborate closely with the Head Chef to ensure top-notch food quality, timely catering departures, cost controls, staffing levels, and overall kitchen organization.
This caterer focuses on events ranging from 20 to 2000 attendees, with a focus on higher-end food and service. The majority of the parties are between 200-600 guests.
Qualifications :
- 2-4 years of experience with reputable high-end catering organizations
- Demonstrated longevity in previous positions with evidence of career progression
- Proficiency in ordering, scheduling / staffing, inventory management, cost controls, and other administrative tasks
- Strong computer skills
Responsibilities :
- Oversee kitchen organization and coordination for catering events
- Ensure all food meets our high standards and is delivered on time
- Collaborate with the Head Chef on cost controls, quality assurance, and kitchen cleanliness
- Supervise kitchen staff to maintain efficiency and consistency
