The Orthopedic Surgery team is looking to expand their APP practice with this hospital based opportunity. This unique position allows the NP or PA to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary care team including orthopedic surgeons, residents / fellows, and allied health staff to facilitate postoperative care for orthopedic inpatient and outpatient surgical cases.
The patient population will primarily consist of upper and lower extremity adult reconstruction patients. The candidate will be an integral part of the hospital practice, being the primary contact to facilitate communication between the multidisciplinary care teams to provide evidence based best practice care, assist in patient education, and coordinate discharge planning.
This role will work with a team focus but allow for a high level of autonomy. We are seeking an innovative candidate who has a desire to help optimize outpatient and inpatient care of our orthopedic patients.
