Perform airway management procedures such as intubation assist and extubation. Conduct suctioning and tracheostomy care as outlined in protocols. Collect sputum specimens and provide thorough patient assessments. Troubleshoot high-pressure alarms on ventilators and assist in weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. Minimum of 2 years of experience in respiratory therapy. Current BLS certification required. National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) registered respiratory therapist certification required. Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
