Development Manager / Project Manager

Job Type : Full-time

Location : Seattle, WA - Onsite

We are looking for skilled project managers to join our team in the Seattle area. Ideal candidates will have :

  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated excellence in commercial real estate project management, design, engineering, and / or construction.
  • A minimum undergraduate degree.

Candidates should have experience in some or all of the following project activities :

  • Creating schedules and budgets
  • Managing large teams (including design)
  • Negotiating general contracts
  • Permitting and entitlement
  • Construction management

Candidates should possess qualities and traits that enable them to :

  • Compile, analyze, interpret, and integrate information
  • Prepare and present complex reports
  • Lead, guide, coordinate, and facilitate project meetings
  • Balance priorities and deadlines
  • Motivate and direct people through positive leadership and effective communication

Candidates must :

  • Be active learners with a strong desire to broaden their capabilities
  • Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Function effectively as part of a team
  • Have high attention to detail
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience working on large-scale, complex projects
  • Technical background in healthcare, life science, and / or research & development laboratories
  • Willingness to travel
  • Strong project experience and relationships in the Puget Sound

Office Attendance :

  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for this role. Team members are expected to adhere to their scheduled work hours and demonstrate punctuality.
  • This position requires working on-site at our office and at project sites, as needed.
  • We presently offer a hybrid work model consisting of three in-office days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and two flexible days (Monday, Friday) each week.

This arrangement depends on job responsibilities, performance, and the needs of our clients and the team.
