POSITION SUMMARY
The clinical manager is responsible to the director of pharmacy services for assuring that all clinical and professional policies and procedures, tasks and responsibilities are at optimal levels.
He / she is responsible for developing, maintaining and coordinating the department’s clinical and student programs. He / she is responsible for the operational activities when the manager and / or director are unavailable.
The clinical manager shall be able to carry out all clinical and operational activities of the pharmacy in conjunction with other services and / or departments, working within the overall policies set forth by the governing board of Florida Medical Center.
He / she must assist with the dissemination of policies, procedures, tasks and responsibilities as guided by the director in order to comply with the directives set forth by TJC, DPR, HRS, ASHP, and DEA;
thus allowing for the proper care of our pediatric through geriatric patients while at Florida Medical Center.
