Trusted Staffe is seeking a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our partner medical center in Manteca, CA. This role involves performing a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures, and working closely with physicians to provide crucial information for patient care.

Responsibilities :

Perform Nuclear Medicine Procedures : Conduct a range of nuclear medicine exams, including bone scans, cardiac stress tests, and thyroid scans, using radiopharmaceuticals and specialized equipment.

Radiopharmaceutical Preparation : Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals safely and accurately, following established protocols and radiation safety guidelines.

Equipment Operation : Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment, such as gamma cameras and SPECT / CT scanners, to acquire high-quality images.

Image Processing and Analysis : Process and evaluate images to ensure diagnostic quality and assist physicians in interpreting findings.

Patient Care : Provide compassionate care and support to patients throughout the imaging process, addressing any questions or concerns.

Documentation : Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including procedures performed, dosages administered, and any relevant observations.

Quality Control : Participate in quality control measures to ensure optimal equipment performance and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications :

Education : Graduate of an accredited school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.

Experience : 1-3 years of experience preferred.

Certifications :

CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist)

BLS (Basic Life Support)

State license if required
