Emergency Room Travel RN

• tDemonstrate accurate assessment skills, appropriate to the age of the patient.
• tPerform and document ongoing assessments, tests, and patient response to procedural intervention.
• tParticipate in coordination and education of patient needs with patient care team, family, and patient.
• tImplement and revise plan of care according to patient’s status.
• tAdminister medications and treatments as ordered to assigned patients.
• tFlexibility to travel to the assignment location.
• tAvailability to work the facility’s required schedule.
• tWillingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.
• tAbility to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.
• tAlso referred to as : ED nurse, ER nurse, emergency room nurse, or emergency department nurse.

Job Requirements

• t1+ year of experience as a Emergency Department (ER) nurse
• tGraduate from an accredited nursing school
• tCurrent state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
• tBLS certification required
• tACLS certification required
• tMay require PALS certification; MAB certification; TNCC
