Responsibilities
- Develop production routing and manufacturing drawings
- Utilize 3D CAD software to design fixtures
- Assist in the analysis of current manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, cost reduction, and quality
- Collaborate with operators to identify manufacturing issues and implement corrective actions
- Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process flowcharts
- Conduct time studies and analyze data to optimize production cycles and identify bottlenecks
- Apply lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping) to eliminate waste and improve flow
- Support quality control initiatives, including assisting with root cause analysis of defects and implementing preventative measures
- Adhere to all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment
