Service Technician
Overall this is an opportunity for a service minded technical professional to work, learn and grow with a successful and forward thinking company.
Service Technicians responsibilities include :
- The maintenance, repair and installation of automated pedestrian entrance system doors such as sliding or revolving styles, to ensure safe access for pedestrians.
- Training on Besam factory products to have a firm understanding of door hardware and door electrical components.
- May require the availability to respond to after hours emergency service calls.
The minimum candidate requirements are :
- Two to five years experience in the service and repair of automated entry systems.
- Knowledge of the low voltage electronics and motor systems.
- An ability to read an interpret drawings and specification sheets coupled with general working knowledge of door hardware.
Other Requirements :
- Must possess the ability to present as a professional with excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- A proven ability to work independently demonstrating keen organizational skills.
- A strong desire to work in the automatic door business is a must.
- This position demands a results-oriented approach coupled with high-energy, reliability and personal discipline.
- Some computer skills required.
- Applicants will need to furnish a driver's abstract and may be required to submit to a criminal record check and drug screening to ensure admissibility to security sensitive facilities and work sites.
