Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of students with special needs.
- Deliver engaging and effective classroom instruction, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with fellow educators and staff to ensure a holistic and enriching educational experience for all students.
- Provide guidance, support, and encouragement to help students achieve their academic and personal goals.
Requirements :
To be considered for this Special Education Teacher role in Kansas, you must meet the following criteria :
- Hold a valid Kansas teaching license with a Special Education endorsement.
- Possess a Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field.
- Demonstrated commitment to working with students with special needs and promoting inclusive education.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in the Kansas City, KS area.
