Description :

General Medical-Surgical unit with 18 beds.

Staff consists of 13 RNs, 5 LPNs, and 25 PCTs.

Patient ratios are 5 / 6 : 1.

Type of equipment includes feeding pumps, peg tubes, IVs, central lines, drains, EKGs.

EMR system used is Meditech.

Responsibilities include assisting with bedside lumbar punctures and central line dressing changes.

Perform tube feedings, wound care, and Foley catheter insertion.

Ideal candidates are outgoing team players with strong communication skills and neuro assessment skills.

Must be available to work every third weekend.
