TWO new Pulm / CC positions in Metro Birmingham, Alabama!!
Ø Pulmonary, Critical Care. Sleep is optional.
Ø 7 person single specialty, practice is 30 years’ old
Ø 2 physicians are retiring
Ø Eat what you kill, shared overhead is a low 42%
Ø Pathway to partnership
Ø Bronchoscopy, EBUS, pleuroscopy required
Ø Not willing to sponsor a visa
Ø Autonomy, everyone is different in how they schedule patients and keep office hours
Ø Average inpatient census : 8 15 patients
Ø NextGen EMR
Ø Weekday call 1 : 5
Ø Two weekend call schedules : Friday and Saturday or Sunday only, call is 1 : 3
Ø Daily rounds on own patients, inpatient and outpatient practice
