We have a current opening for a Billing Specialist.
Responsibilities :
- Create invoices for work orders and invoice through SAP
- Resolve billing discrepancies or missing support documentation
- Monitor invoice workload daily to ensure invoices are processed timely
- Monitor SAP workflow and follow up with invoice approvers regarding pending invoices
- Respond to customer invoice inquiries
- Work closely with Project Managers and Coordinators to resolve invoice issues impacting timely payments
- Review Pay Applications to ensure that all work invoiced is processed and paid timely
- Review and streamline the process of the invoicing process
- Follow up on past due payments
- Understand the flow of work through Viewpoint software, extract and analyze reports, troubleshoot issues with the program
- Organize, track and manage business and contractor licensing along with continuing education requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred
- Construction contract billing experience preferred
- Works with minimal supervision and direction
- Ability to identify issues, analyze data, develop, recommend, and implement solutions
- Possesses initiative, decision-making skills, and problem solving skills
- Proficient in Office 365, SAP, and SharePoint
