Local CDL Driver Class A

Job Description Alpenrose Dairy, a 100 year old iconic Portland brand, is looking for Class A Drivers to join our local distribution team.
Our drivers deliver to the greater Portland / Seattle areas. Customer service is our highest priority. Join us as we propel the brand into the next 100 years.
Responsibilities include :
- Accurately deliver product to customer location per invoice / BOL.
- Excellent customer service, ability to address customer questions, issues or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
- Unload, stock, rotate and organize product per customers needs.
- Must be able to maneuver / lift or carry 50-100 lbs. with or without assistance.
- Complete all delivery documentation accurately and legibly.
- Maintain driver logs and vehicle inspections.
- Maintain equipment in a clean and organized manner.
- Operate safely according to DOT regulations.
- Adhere to Alpenrose food safety programs.
Qualifications :
- Valid class A CDL license, driving experience preferred. and a Valid Medical Card
- Must be able to pass pre-employment physical abilities test
- Must be able to bend, stoop, twist and turn in confined areas
- Must be able to operate power jack
- Ability to work in a refrigerated environment (35 degrees)
- Must be able to read and follow instructions
- Delivery and area knowledge a plus
