About The Position

Job Description & Requirements

Physical Therapist - Outpatient - (PT)

StartDate : 7 / 22 / 2024 Available Shifts : 8 D Pay Rate : $2130.00 - $2454.00

Provides consultation and mentoring to the physical therapy staff in their specific area of specialization.- Provides education to physical therapists through formal and informal education in their specific specialty both locally and regionally.

• Assists in the development and implementation of new clinical practice models for the delivery of care to members who require their expertise.
• For their area of specialty, acts as a consultant to staff members for the management of patients and is a resource for on-going, professional development of the staff in their specialty.

Assesses staff competencies, clinical judgment, education, and training needs in their specialty. Provides direct patient care, especially for patients with complex problems related to their specialty.

Provides competent patient care at a senior level as defined below. Senior therapists provide leadership to the department, supervise PTA's students and support staff.

Provides a leadership role to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of physical therapy services.- Provides clinical direction to staff in our role as senior staff.

• Assumes responsibility for the management of high volume of patients, including those with complex problems or special needs in their area of specialty.
• Provides assistance to Supervisor as needed and covers for Supervisor when out of the office.- Provides coverage as needed in other facilities within the service area if appropriate.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Active CA license

2 years of Outpatient experience in the last 3 years
