Position Overview :
- Support and oversee compliance with safety regulations and other regulatory requirements for equipment.
- Monitor and track engineering expenses and ensure adherence to capital budget.
- Assist in the design, installation, modification, and maintenance of plant equipment, buildings, and facilities.
- Work with engineering and maintenance teams to provide necessary support for efficient and cost-effective production.
Key Responsibilities :
Utilize continuous improvement tools to analyze product irregularities and recommend solutions, leading to cost reduction initiatives.
Train and support team members on the production floor.
- Identify performance issues through data analysis and technical knowledge, including waste reduction.
- Assist in cost estimation, project justification, budgeting, design review, installation supervision, and commissioning.
Explore new equipment, systems, and processes to enhance plant operations on smaller projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, working with relevant associates on EHS matters and facilitating communication across departments.
- Support contractor management processes and periodically inspect contractor work to ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard procedures.
Required Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience :
- Minimum of 2 years' experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering and maintenance teams to achieve cost-effective objectives.
- Preferred experience in equipment design and project engineering or project management.
Skills :
- Proficiency in computer-based technology, including programming and troubleshooting machine issues.
- Knowledge of modern safety control systems and ability to design them.
- Familiarity with electrical diagrams and experience in designing electrical control systems.
- Ability to interpret and create technical CAD drawings and schematics.
