Customer Care Specialist

Position Summary : The Customer Care Specialist will provide our customers and sales specialists with an inside contact for reviewing orders, getting status information, and expediting.

Essential Functions :

  • Take customer inquiries via telephone or email, and enter information and notes into system.
  • Make calls to customers to solicit additional business or information
  • Assist the Sales Specialists in meeting customer needs for information, products or services
  • Assist peers in a team oriented environment
  • Learn basic technical aspects of the locksmith industry including, but not limited to, technical manuals, prints, etc.
  • Take calls, enter orders and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to meet and exceed established customer satisfaction metrics
  • Perform responsibilities in accordance with all company standards, policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as needed

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Associates Degree or equivalent experience required
  • Customer service or call center experience
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and sales specialists to meet customer needs
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Possess strong mechanical aptitude
  • High energy and self-directed - ability to work without close supervision
  • Comfortable with a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to conduct live order entry
  • Proficient with computers and Microsoft applications
  • Must be available to work 9 : 30AM to 6 : 00PM Monday - Thursday, 8 : 30AM to 5 : 00PM on Friday
  • Flexible to work overtime as needed

Physical Requirements :

  • Ability to remain seated or stand for long periods of time while using phone and working on a computer or documentation, etc.
  • Must have manual dexterity to operate computer keyboard and standard office equipment.
  • Must be capable of withstanding long period of viewing data on a computer screen and / or in paper format.
  • Ability to interact with a diversity of people and diverse levels of personnel.
  • Ability to travel as necessary for the positions described.
