The Clinical Support Specialist (CSS) functions as a product support advisor within the assigned Hill-Rom Surgical Solutions sales region.
The core focus of the role is to provide product support that enhances clinical and financial outcomes for customers, caregivers and patients within the assigned region.
This position requires flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to collaborate with multiple team members to ensure customer satisfaction.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Product Support & Efficiency Management : Support and drive both clinical proficiencies and outcomes in Hill-Rom Surgical Solutions current and prospective accounts.
Lead customer engagement to assure that enhanced clinical and financial outcomes are measured and sustained.
Ensure Clinical Adoption across Product Portfolio : Support product trialing, demonstrations, and in-servicing to enhance customers adoption of their portfolio.
Support site visits, product fairs, and mock rooms, as necessary. Collaborate with other Hill-Rom divisions and industry partners across the continuum of care.
Clinical Core Competency Development : Develop clinical expertise as a core competency and share expertise with others to enhance clinical benefit from our people / process and technology.
Stay abreast of current healthcare trends and technology.
Information management : Filter appropriate and pertinent feedback to marketing and R&D. Record activities and contacts within Salesforce.
com and assure that all information remains current and provides enough detail to be useful.
Travel as required to manage assigned territory and to attend regional / national meetings.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS :
- Bachelors degree in Business or related field, RN, a plus
- Previous clincial and / or selling experience strongly preferred
- Health care and / or medical device experience strongly preferred
- Strong strategic and critical thinking skills
- Highly developed business acumen
- Excellent formal presentation skills
- Ability to mentor and develop others
- Strong collaboration, verbal and written communication skills
- Computer literate (must demonstrate a basic working knowledge of excel, PowerPoint and word)
- Variable travel up to 75%
- Adaptable and flexible
