Internal Medicine physician employment in New York :
A health services network in New York City is currently a licensed Physician, with a Family and / or Internal Medicine background, for a promising position at one of their practices in Manhattan.
About the Opportunity :
- Schedule : Monday to Thursday
- Setting : Private Practice
- Patient Population : Outpatient
Responsibilities :
The Family / Internal Medicine Physician will be responsible for :
- Perform history and physical assessments, as indicated
- Provide services in accordance with generally acceptable standards of medical practice
- Develop a plan of treatment / care for the patient that also includes education and follow-up visits
- Make referrals, as indicated by the needs of the patient
- Communicate with other healthcare providers related to diagnosis, treatment and plan for the patient either verbally and / or through documentation in the medical record
- Maintain current and complete documentation in the medical record that reflects the care and services provided to the patient
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications :
- Licensed to practice medicine in the State of New York
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine and / or Family Medicine
