About The Position
Job Title : Radiologic Technologist Job Specialty : X-ray Technology - Radiology Job Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 12-hour Days, Monday-Tuesday and Every Other Weekend, 10 : 30-23 : 00 Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : Must have a license in hand at the time of application Certifications : ARRT, BLS, Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have : - Surgical experience - Own lead markers - Radiation badge required prior to starting assignment Job Description : - Perform all General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and OR exams - Float between General X-ray, Fluoroscopy, OR, ED, and Portable units - Conduct 80-100 imaging studies per day - Utilize EPIC EMR and SECTRA PACS - Operate a range of equipment including 3 GE general X-ray rooms, 1 Shimadzu X-ray room, GE Fluoroscopy room, GE portables, and OEC C-Arms - Work under the guidance of an Imaging Supervisor and Shift / Modality Lead Tech - Wear professional scrubs;
hospital scrubs provided for OR staff - Attend department-specific orientation during the first three days - Adapt to shift times that may vary between 10-hour and 12-hour shifts, with potential weekend and holiday requirements - Be available for occasional call, with a response time of 45 minutes Additional Notes : Personal scrubs are acceptable as long as they are tasteful.
Radiologists are available on-site 24 / 7. IV starting skills are useful but not required.
