job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPosition is in an ambulatory Vascular Surgery Lab Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Dedicated to vascular sonography, not general ultrasound Caseload includes carotid duplex, venous duplex (DVT, reflux, mapping), arterial physiologic and duplex (upper / lower extremities), bypass graft and stent surveillance, abdominal / visceral (renal, mesenteric), and EVAR surveillance Use of digital reporting systems and PACS; Epic EMR experience preferred Role requires independent work in a highly specialized vascular lab setting Requires demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal orientation Collaboration with surgeons, APPs, and trainees in a clinic setting is expected Preferred backgrounds include IAC-accredited vascular lab experience or academic teaching hospital experience Experience precepting trainees, fellows, or residents is valued No local candidates accepted; must live more than 50 miles from the facility Previous employees must have a 6-month break before being considered All requested days off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of consideration Parking costs may be up to $43 per day 3-5 years of full-time, post-training experience in a dedicated vascular ultrasound lab Current RVT (ARDMS) or RVS (CCI) credential required BLS certification is required Proven competency in the full spectrum of vascular testing detailed above Strong communication and concise reporting skills needed Proficiency with digital reporting systems and PACS necessary Epic or similar EMR experience is preferred MA license required if applicable Clinical rotations, internships, or student placements do not count toward required experience Documentation of flu and COVID-19 vaccine (with booster); medical exemptions are permitted High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
