Manufacturing Engineer - Centralia, MO

Job Overview

The Manufacturing Engineer will support the manufacturing operations including determining the most cost-effective method of manufacturing components with existing equipment / facilities as well as proposing new methods / equipment.

A Day In The Life

• Ensure safe operation of all equipment and processes.
• Trouble-shoot and resolve manufacturing process issues.
• Prepare justification documentation for capital expenditures.
• Lead / Assist in tool design and manufacturing process development.
• Develop and implement cost saving projects. Participate in Lean events that drive productivity and cost improvement.
• Lead quality improvement activities including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Work closely with product engineering in product changes / new product introductions.
• Investigate and implement safety and ergonomic changes in the manufacturing setting.
• Provide technical support / training to direct labor employees.
