At Gartner, we are at the forefront of leveraging data analytics to drive strategic decision making. As a Data Scientist or Senior Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge data models and providing valuable insights to support our business objectives.

Your expertise in mathematical skills, advanced NLP & ML knowledge, and data modeling will be instrumental in transforming complex data into actionable solutions.

Responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop innovative data models.
  • Apply advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and natural language processing to extract insights from large and complex datasets.
  • Develop and implement predictive and prescriptive models to support strategic decision making.
  • Utilize Python, SQL, and Spark to manipulate and analyze data efficiently.
  • Create visually compelling reports and presentations using tools such as Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science and contribute to the continuous improvement of our analytical capabilities.

Requirements :

  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, Data Analytics) with 2-5 years of equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of data modeling experience in a business environment is required.
  • Exceptionally strong mathematical skills, with a deep understanding of statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
  • Advanced knowledge of natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning (ML) algorithms.
  • Proven experience in developing descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive data models.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Spark for big data processing and analysis.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex data findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and analytically.

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 130,500 USD.

Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location.

In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan.

Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
