Utah State University’s invites applications for an Assistant / Associate Professor tenure-track position in Science or STEM Education.

The anticipated start date is August 2025. Review of applications will begin September 30, 2024 and continue until the position is filled.
This is a nine-month, academic-year appointment with the opportunity for summer employment. The position is on the USU main campus in Logan, Utah, a Carnegie R1 Institution of Higher Education.
This position is not eligible for remote work.
USU’s Science and STEM education faculty seek to hire a new collegue with a science and / or STEM-focused research agenda.
Research foci such as, but not limited to, K-12 engineering education, integrated STEM+computing teaching and learning, computer science teacher education, and STEM special education are welcomed.
The ideal candidate for this position must demonstrate a strong record of, or show potential for :
- peer-reviewed journal publications
- obtaining extramural research funding
- recruiting and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students
- being an effective classroom teacher at the undergraduate and the graduate levels who is capable of using a variety of delivery modalities
- providing meaningful service to Utah State University, the residents of Utah, and the profession.
