Job Details

We are seeking an Audit Senior Associate to join our fast-paced finance team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a challenging environment and has a passion for financial auditing, accounting, and financial reporting.

You will be working with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries such as government, manufacturing, real estate, and high net worth individuals.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Audit Senior, your primary responsibilities will include

  • Leading and managing financial audits for a diverse range of clients.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with clients to understand their business operations, processes, and functions.
  • Identifying scope changes and adjusting audit plans accordingly.
  • Preparing and presenting financial reports in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and records, evaluating internal controls, and testing financial transactions.
  • Preparing cost budgets for audit engagements and monitoring performance against budget.
  • Advising clients on financial reporting and compliance matters.
  • Utilizing advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with government regulations and benefit plans.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Permanent Audit Senior role will have the following qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in financial auditing, accounting, and financial reporting.
  • Extensive knowledge of GAAP standards and experience in preparing financial reports.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience in working with diverse industries such as casinos, government, manufacturing, real estate, and high net worth individuals.
  • Familiarity with government regulations and benefit plans.
  • Excellent analytical skills and an eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is a plus.
