Insight Global is searching for a Project Engineer with a Mechanical engineering background, to support a manufacturing company based out of Glastonbury. This role supports with project development and execution including but not limited to the following.

  • Review and approve project specifications
  • Coordinate procurement and vendor documentation to ensure compliance and timely delivery
  • Collaborate with Project managers, Engineers, and contractors to align activities and project goals.
  • Maintain Engineering documentation, provide technical reports, and updates.
  • Travel to project sites.

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Familiarity with ASME codes, piping systems, rotating equipment, and thermal systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 40%.
  • Experience leading mechanical engineering efforts for power generation systems and infrastructure.
  • Coordinated with cross-functional teams including electrical, civil, and controls engineers.
  • Has overseen design reviews, vendor selection, and equipment specifications.
  • Conducted site visits to ensure project alignment and troubleshoot field issues.
  • Managed project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
