Essential Functions
Recruit, engage, and license enough foster families to meet placement and respite goals.Ensure all components of the evidence-based model are in place and that services are delivered with fidelity.Schedule and deliver TFCO training to newly recruited foster parents; provide individual refresher sessions as needed.Conduct parent daily report calls, enter data in Focus, and maintain model fidelity; serve backup if assigned elsewhere.Complete and submit all agency-required reports related to recruitment and training; keep agency database and tracking sheets updated.Participate in supervisory processes for guidance, direction, support, and approval of decision making, assessment, service planning, and intervention; present cases for staffing or attend staff meetings.Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, coworkers, partner organizations, and others with dignity, respect, honesty, and fairness.Position Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in social services or related field required.Child Welfare Employee License (CWEL), 402, CCA certification, or ability to obtain required licenses.Training in the Treatment Foster Care of Oregon (TFCO) model, or willingness to receive TFCO training upon hiring.Prior experience in child welfare, foster care, or related area preferred.Experience performing foster parent licensing duties preferred.Clear verbal and written communication skills.Ability to develop and execute an effective, ongoing recruitment strategy.Ability to motivate foster parents to adhere to a detailed treatment model and provide services using a team approach.Ability to influence others and relate to others.Background check clearance (criminal and CANTS); valid driver's license in good standing; valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage required.Reliable transportation.We are an equal-opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, pregnancy, or any other characteristic protected by law.
