MaintenanceTechnician
Overview
Must have basicknowledge of General Maintenance, Hydraulic Systems, Electrical andElectronic Systems, and Welding (TIG,MIG).
Must be able to operateand repair at least 2 different types of forklifts. Technician mustbe able to work as a team or individually.
Must comply with allCompany SAFETY rules (LOCKOUT / TAGOUT, ETC) and Good ManufacturingPractices (GMP's) at all times.
Responsibilities
- Ensureall assign daily PM's are completed.
- Ensureproduction lines are in good mechanical order.
- Provide assistance to other teams (Production, Quality-when needed).
- Follow Good ManufacturingPractices (GMP's) and Safety Practices at all times.
- Visually inspects and tests machinery andequipment
- Listens for unusual sounds frommachines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machineoperation variations with supervisors or other personnel todiagnose problem or repair machine.
- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new orrepaired parts.
- Cleans and lubricates shafts,bearings gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers andwiring, and electrical / electronic components of machinery andequipment.
- Repairs and maintains physicalstructure of establishment.
- Installs,programs, troubleshoot, or repairs automated machinery andequipment such as programmable controllers.
- Follow all ISO 14001 procedures
- Other dutiesas needed.

EDUCATION AND / OREXPERIENCE :
- HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent;
- Five (5) to ten(10) years related experience and / or training or equivalentcombination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ANDABILITIES :
- Mustbe able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
- Must have the ability to read and interpret documents,such as blue prints, safety rules, operating and maintenancemanuals, and procedure manuals.
- Must have theability to write routine correspondence.
- Musthave the ability to calculate figures, read tape measurement, andamounts such as proportions, percentages, area, and machine orequipment calibration specifications.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES,REGRISTATIONS :
Any that may apply(for example : EPA Certification, Electrician License,etc.)
