Responsibilities
- Best Practices and Standards Implementation :
- Ensure best practices and drawing conventions are integrated into Revit.
- Coordinate departmental processes and procedures, maintaining document and template structure and protocol.
- Assist with Revit meetings, managing Revit templates, standards, and procedures.
- Project Coordination and Management :
- Collaborate with Project Managers, Project Architects, and Architectural Project Leads to update project statuses.
- Evaluate project manpower status and assess staffing needs and schedules.
- Review resumes, conduct interviews, and provide hiring recommendations.
- Maintain and adjust onboarding document templates for new hires, providing feedback for necessary revisions.
- Staff Management :
- Conduct quarterly check-ins and annual reviews with direct reports.
- Perform weekly reviews of direct report timesheets.
- Budget and Compliance :
- Monitor project budget reports on a weekly basis and develop strategies for budget compliance.
- Internal Coordination :
- Hold bi-weekly meetings with other Studio Directors to ensure alignment.
- Meet bi-weekly with Project Managers and Project Architects to discuss studio status, project updates, and personnel needs.
- Internship and Development Programs :
- Oversee intern and Professional Development Program (PDP) rotations and assignments.
- Lead bi-weekly Architecture Team Meetings, stepping in as needed.
- Employee Engagement :
- Track participation in I-Power, review responses and monitor task completion.
- Manage and assign topics for Forum rotations on a bi-weekly basis.
- External Representation :
- Represent the studio in community outreach, AIA events, marketing initiatives, and other professional engagements.
Qualifications
- You have earned a Five-Year Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Architecture from a NAAB accredited program is preferred.
- Registered Architects in Florida preferred but not required.
- You have the ability to manage multiple projects.
- You have experience in integration of structural & MEPFP systems.
- You have a minimum of five years of experience managing and leading teams on either commercial or residential projects.
- You must be able to communicate in both written and verbal formats of English at a professional business level.
