Xpress Wellness Urgent Care is looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse or Medical Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities
- Take and record vital signs, medical history, and patient symptoms
- Assist providers during examinations and treatments
- Administer medications and injections as directed by providers
- Collect lab specimens and perform basic lab tests
- Verify and update patient information in electronic medical records
- Prepare and clean exam rooms before and after patient visits
- Educate patients on medications, treatments, and self-care procedures
- This position will be required to be trained in X-Ray
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CPR / BLS certification preferred
- Proficient computer skills, experience with electronic medical records preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work weekends and / or holidays when needed
- Compassionate and professional demeanor with patients and team members

- Compensation is determined by the amount of experience and is in the range of $15.38 - $27.88 per hour. Payment is also influenced by the type of license or certificate held.
