Job Title : Payment Processing Specialist

Position Overview

  • Organization Unit : Investor Services Complex
  • Job Category : Entry Level
  • Job Type : 1st Shift
  • Shift Hours : 10 : 30 AM – 6 : 30 PM (includes holiday coverage)
  • Work Days : Monday–Friday
  • Work Site : Onsite (Hybrid – onboarding and initial training onsite; then work from home with once-a-week office presence)

  • Start Date : September 1, 2025
  • End Date : March 2, 2026
  • Expected Term : ~6 months
  • Possibility for Temp-to-Perm : Yes
  • Weekly Hours Expected : Minimum 35 hours / week

    • Job Description

    The Payment Processing Specialist is responsible for accurately and efficiently handling various types of currency payment instructions, both manual (e.g., fax) and automated (e.g., SWIFT, BBH Worldview). The role is fast-paced and deadline-driven, requiring adherence to firm policies, risk controls, and quality standards. Responsibilities also include using systems like Keystone and Rightfax , processing inquiries, and collaborating across teams.

    • Risk Management

  • Process payments accurately and on time
  • Escalate unclear instructions and recommend control improvements
  • Follow updated procedures promptly
  • Suggest automation or process changes to reduce errors

    • Process Improvement

  • Review and challenge inefficient practices
  • Identify automation opportunities
  • Aim to improve STP (Straight Through Processing) rates
  • Enhance productivity while meeting client deadlines

    • Required Skills & Qualifications

  • BA in Business or Finance (or related experience)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Strong customer service and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented and deadline-driven
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Strong typing ability
  • Knowledge of USD / foreign currency payments, Keystone , and Rightfax preferred
